Our
Mission |
|
|
|
We now mark our sixth year of painting classes in the Philadelphia region. We offer the perfect opportunity for studying outdoor
painting in an informative, encouraging environment. Classes are
small; we assure individual attention, and tailor the information to all
painting levels. Beginners are
welcome, for our commitment to a supportive learning environment, where we learn while painting, and have fun learning,
ensures a joyful experience to all.

"Mr. Martin opened my eyes to ways of
seeing the landscape that Id never seen before. His ideas are clear and carefully presented in a way that anyone can
understand. Very Helpful!" |

The
Workshop |
|
|
|
On this summer weekend holiday, we paint the ambience of the Pennypack Trust, in
Bryn Athyn. We choose this
locale for its painterly ambience and comfort. An ideal environment for
outdoor painting, its open meadows, forested areas and quaint buildings
provide a wide variety of subjects to choose from. The specific
goal of the workshop is to indicate form
and distance in our paintings. For this
reason, the workshop offers a demonstration providing insight into the use of
linear and aerial perspective, and individual attention follows every
demonstration. |

"I am a beginner,
and I was very grateful for Henrys patience. He always took the time to present and explain the
concepts he was trying to express without ever making me feel lost. Thank You." |

morning sessions from 9 am till noon, and afternoon sessions from 1 to 4 pm,

repellant. Participants are free

"Henry seems to really enjoy
teaching. I was impressed with
his manner of articulating his ideas, so that he makes these ideas accessible
to all. It's great!" |
